I responded on the Caerthe EQ list, but will repost
for anyone wanting more clarification:
Greetings Tyr,
I did speak with the site owner, and she clarified
that helmets are required specifically for anyone
riding her horses. So, if you are an adult (by SCA
rules) and you have your own horse, you do not need a
helmet. I believe the SCA does require helmets for
children.
There will be limited number of helmets available if
you would like to borrow one. If this is the case,
please let me know so we can try to reserve one for
you.
I hope to see you there!
YIS,
Mary Katherine
