Hi,
If this message looks strange, it's because
it looks like messages aren't getting out from Sca-List,
so I'm responding using the archive....

Louis-Phillippe asked a similar question, and I'm going to
send you what I sent him:

No period garb required. This is simply a community dance, where some of the dances may be familiar to those who have attended an SCA dance.
Most folks wear comfortable everyday clothes. Women often wear loose skirts. Definitely wear comfortable shoes.
Beginners are very very welcome!!!!!
It would be fun to show up in garb sometime. ;-)

What garb would be appropriate for such a dance?

(and how could I make do?)

Thank you,

I've been searching long enough
I begged the moon and the stars above
For sacred love

I've been up, I've been down
I've been lonesome, in this godless town
You're my religion, you're my church
You're the holy grail at the end of my search
Have I been down on my knees for long enough?
I've been searching the planet to find
Sacred love
