In case you missed mention the first two times (because it didn't have it's
own thread), the children of Caer Galen will be cooking breakfast for the
Barony at Jester's Folly Saturday morning at 8. This is an official
tradition and will remain so as long as we're your friendly MoCs!

However, we have a bit of a problem: our camp stove is dying a slow death
and only one burner works. We've had this beauty for 10 years now and
camped hard with it across the country, so it's no wonder it's limping
along. Therefore we plead to the populace to please lend us your stoves for
the Children's Breakfast. All equipment will be returned in good condition
and cleaned. Unfortunately I have higher priorities in our budget until
after our last SCA camp event this summer (Baron's War), so I will have to
make the same request for Defender. We'll NOT be wearing our official hats
at Baron's War so no official children's activities will be organised by us
then.

Also, after Defender last year, all my children's aprons went missing. If
anyone has seen a collection of children's aprons, many handmade, could you
please let me know so I can stop fretting over where they went? Several
were made by my mom and at least one was mine when I was a girl, and I'm
pretty peeved at myself for mislaying them.

Standard breakfast fare will be prepared: Fresh organic eggs (most from our
hens), organic produce, and non-organic pancakes and syrup. We'll also have
a boatload of Royal Crest milk (RbGh free) for those of us who love to chug
a nice cold glass of milk in the mornings.

Parents, if you would like your kids to help please have them meet us at our
tent at 7.30 to help gather and set up.
