Hi, all.
Just thought I'd chime in on that one.
The person who contacted you is actually Society deputy, not Kingdom. I
really don't have any long-term deputies, just people drafted for projects.
The compliance issue is mostly correct, but emailed in permissions are
fine by me (and I double-checked that with Society). That's the way it's
done for kingdom web site information. Whenever we get a new officer or
nobility, I send out an email that says we need their contact
information, and permission to publish it on the web site, along with
what can be published outside the login.
Thus, if the officers (and whoever else appears) email you "My contact
information on the web site is fine the way it is" and you have the
copies of the email (locally) readily accessible, that's fine. No sense
in extra layers of bureaucracy, which we have quite enough of in the
SCA, tyvm.
The direct contact from Society, bypassing kingdom-level stuff (I.E.,
me) has also been taken care of.
