Alright, I'll have a go...

Meenakshi, after a night of drinking way too much mead and playing
Hnefatafl till dawn, in her cups decided to take on a Viking persona and
change her name to Helga Svensdottor. In the cold, hung-over light of
dawn she realized the folly of her drunken fellowship and is now trying
to get rid of the evidence of her folly, thus the need to get rid of her
fake platinum tresses.

When she offers up a spear, breast-plate and winged helmet, we'll all
know the truth...
