[Sca-List] May Day!

The time has come for finalising our plans for May Day!  This year's theme: 
The Grecian Formula.  We need much help from the populace.

Firstly, we need a volunteer to run Troll, and volunteers to man Troll.  We 
also need volunteers to help with setup and takedown.  We also need 
materials donated from the populace: our craft this year is mosaics, so we 
will need donations of broken pottery/tiles; broken or unwanted costume 
jewelry; leftover beads; dried beans and legumes; dried pasta bits; anything 
that can be glued onto cardboard for creation of a mosaic.  If anyone also 
has scraps of purple fabric or purple ribbon we can have to make special 
sash tokens, we would appreciate that also.  We also need volunteers from 
the populace to wear these tokens and be "historians" the children can 
approach to ask about information on Greek customs, history, culture, etc.

We would also like to ask musicians who would be inclined to play for a 
Challenge of Dancing to contact us; in addition to dancing being one of the 
activities for the children, we hope to keep the central area of the hall 
clear for dancing to be available all day.

Thank you all so much for your help.  This, our second May Day, is the first 
one we've pretty much planned on our own and we are really excited about it!

In closing, everyone start planning now for a potluck of Greek food, and 
weather permitting a chance to show off your best Greek garb (or Roman, 
we're not THAT picky).
