Peasants, Rouges, and...Whatever!
The harvest is long past; it's too early to plant; and, the winter has been far too long...so, what are simple peasants and common folk to do? Well (what else???), it must be time for a party and the long awaited return of "Peasants, Rogues, and Whatever!"
All fun loving peasants, rogues, scoundrels, scallywags and commoners (and those few brave gentles who might be tempted to don peasant garb and mingle with the common rabble) over the age of 16 are invited to join Caer Galen for a night of merriment, diversions, dicing, games and fiendishly clever games and contests.
Where: The site will be the same as last year— Altona Grange Hall: 9386 N 39th Street. Site is on the corner of Nelson Rd. and N. 39th St. From Longmont, take Nelson Rd west about 11 miles, turn left at N. 39th St. From Boulder take Hwy. 36 north, exit on Nelson, go east about 1—2 miles, turn right on 39th St.
We love children; but, to provide an opportunity for the adults to have some time for themselves, no one under the age of 16 will be admitted and anyone under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
The site is very wet (but, IDs will be checked)
There will be stew, sausage, cheese, bread, and fruit for dinner so come and enjoy! Feel free to bring a side dish if you wish; but, certainly, none is required.
Come and enjoy all the joys that the simple folk love so much...and feel free to tip, play and donate generously...because this is, after-all, a fundraiser for our beloved barony.
