Order of the Harp and Chalice
given to those individuals who so love their Barony that they give of themselves freely, sometimes sacrificing personally to make sure the barony as a whole is enriched. The holders of this award shall be styled as Companions of the Order of the Harp and Chalice, and shall be entitled to place the initials C.H.C. after their names. The insignia of the order shall be a blue and gold braid bearing some rendition of a golden chalice charged with a harp.
Harps ring and trumpets sound as the words of (name) and (name), Baron and Baroness of Caer Galen, resonate throughout the hall. Chivalry and gallantry, grace and gentility: these are the hallmarks of a true and honored subject.
Whereas (recipient’s name) has demonstrated through [his/her] continued dedication, personal sacrifice, and hard work for love of [his/her]Barony, and comportment above and beyond those of mortal beings, We are minded this day to create [him/her] a Companion of the Harp and Chalice.
We charge [him/her] to continue to be an example of all virtues we hold dear in this Society.
