The cold winds of autumn blow across the western peaks of Caer Galen. The milky eyes of Her Champions begin to peer into the mists of time in search of worthy successors to relieve them of their duties. They dream of resting their weary bones and returning to their loved ones; but with their duties not yet complete they must find the next set of challengers willing to take up the role of Caer Galen Defenders.
Join our beloved Excellencies in choosing their new champions through feat of arms and strength of wit. There will be tournaments featuring heavy fighting, fencing and archery.
During the evening feast a bardic will be held. The theme is speaking For Seussly; try to compose your piece a la Dr. Seuss. One last twist, the winners of the tournaments will be required to present a piece at the bardic--after all we are the Bards Militant. Come prepared with your best silliness.
A pot luck luncheon is being arranged. We ask that you bring a dish to share. If you are not able to bring something we are happy to accept a monetary donation instead.
The feast will be simple and could be the last BBQ of the season.
Our Arts and Sciences Minister Lady Yildiz of Misrian is organizing a display of the fine works of our artists.
Food: Pot luck lunch: please bring enough for 5--10 people.
Dinner: Brats, bread and cheese, and a vegetarian option will be served. If you are able to please contribute $5 donation.
