L'Ordre du Poignard Noir
given to those persons who have given outstanding personal service to the Coronet, above and beyond that service normally expected of subjects of the Crown. The holders of this award shall be styled as Bearers of the Poignard Noir, and shall be entitled to place the letters B.P.N. after their names. The insignia of the order shall, subject to the approval of the College of Arms, consist of some rendition of a black dagger.
Unto all those who come by these letters present do We, (name) and (name), Baron and Baroness of Caer Galen send Greetings.
Let all know that the vast and diverse service given to Ourselves and the Barony of Caer Galen by (recipient's name), spanning nearly every field of endeavor within the Society, has been instrumental in the affairs of Caer Galen. We are therefore minded this day to admit [him/her] to the Order of the Poignard Noir, that all may know of the great deeds [he/she] has done for [his/her] Baron and Baroness.
